An active group of more than seventy members, the Delaware
Valley Poets (DVP) began in Trenton in 1952 from a nucleus of three
poets. The organization offers workshops on the first Tuesday of every month at the Lawrenceville
branch of the Mercer
County Public Library at Route 1 and Darrah Lane with few exceptions..

DELAWARE VALLEY POETS READING SERIES teams with U.S. 1 Poets Invite Series. the US 1 Invites reading series and the Delaware Valley Poets 2nd Monday readings has merged into a collaborative reading group to be known as Poets at the Library. The reading event takes place on the second Monday of each month in the Princeton Public Library at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor by the fireplace.
The next reading of is on the 8th of April. Open mic follows.

NEW JERSEY POETRY SOCIETY Many of our members also belong to the
New Jersey Poetry Society. There are many benefits to belonging to this
group, which is part of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies,
Inc., such as the publication Strophes, and notification of
